Living Hope Church 30th Anniversary
May 1st-3rd, 2026
We're turning 30!

It has been 30 years since the Alliance planted a church in the Comox Valley. Living Hope Church is celebrating this milestone on the weekend of **May 1 to 3, 2026**. We hope to have as many people as possible from Living Hope's history join us that weekend. Former pastoral staff and past members will be in attendance, so it should be a wonderful time.
We hope you can make it; it would be very special for us if you could join us. If you can't attend in person, perhaps you could share with us a story or photos of your time here? You can email any items to the church office (office@livinghopeonline.ca). Feel free to invite other past members of the church. Contact the church office if you would like a copy of the schedule of events for the weekend. We are looking forward to spending time together, celebrating what the Lord has done and what He is doing through this amazing congregation.
Photos
Do you have photos (digital or print) of Living Hope people or activities? We would love to include them in our "memory lane" display. Please contact the church office (office@livinghopeonline.ca).

Stories
Do you have a story of how the Lord has impacted your life through Living Hope? Please submit it to the church office to potentially be included in our "memory lane" project.

Land Acknowledgment
We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the ancestral and unceded territory of the K’ómoks First Nation. We express gratitude for their faithful care and stewardship of this land since time immemorial.

Unceded means that this land was unjustly taken from the K’ómoks for the settlement and profit of others, and we acknowledge that we have benefited from this injustice. As followers of Jesus, we confess our shared part in the pain and brokenness that the church at large has perpetuated towards Indigenous Peoples in North America and around the world. We acknowledge the ongoing generational trauma of Residential schools and recognize that we have all inherited the legacy of their impact. We respect and learn from the good work Indigenous people are doing in reclaiming their cultures.

We also remember the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, and the call to His followers to be reconcilers. As Living Hope Church, we affirm our commitment to pursue reconciliation with one another, with Indigenous Peoples, and to call our community to be people of peace.
