This event has already occurred
For 7 years now we have been joyfully partnering with Family Services to supply and serve a full turkey dinner at their annual Christmas Party. This is a great way to show God’s love and serve our community. (The main objective of Family Services, for over 40 years, has been to support and encourage positive family interactions and build healthy families in the community.)
If you are interested in participating in one or more of the following ways, or have questions, please email our office: livinghope@shaw.ca. There is also a sign-up sheet at the greeter's table Sunday mornings in the school foyer.
- Help prepare food in the kitchen at Florence Filberg Centre during daytime hours (prepping the turkeys, chopping vegetables, peeling potatoes, etc).
- Come in the evening before dinner to help with prepping food for the buffet tables.
- Help serve dinner from the buffet tables - dinner served at 5:30pm.
- If you don’t have time to volunteer but would like to contribute, you can donate to the Benevolence Fund to help purchase groceries & gifts.
