Children

Hope Kids at Living Hope Church is an imaginative approach to engaging children in Christian education. We seek to draw children to authentically seek Christ, meet Christ and deepen their relationship with Christ in a way that unites them with the broader community of believers.

How it Works

We run our children program every Sunday serving children ages 0-9 years old. If you are new to the church we will ask that you fill out a registration form located in the foyer or at the classroom directly. The first Sunday of each month is known as Full Bodied Sunday. This day the children help to run the church you will see children working along side adult serving in many areas of the church.

Part way through the service children will be dismissed into the following classes

Nursery: Ages 0-4 years old

Drop your child off with one of our trained volunteers so that they can enjoy the toys and activities in the classroom while you go and enjoy the church service.We ask that you pick up your children promptly after the service ends

Elementary Years: Grades K-4 

Children will be dismissed from the service and they can head to the classroom with or without a guardian. We ask that children coming for the first time be registered by a guardian. Children will sign into the class and then enjoy an age appropriate curriculum that could include, story telling, videos, games, creating with Lego, Jenga, art and other mediums. Children may go outside to play if weather permits. We ask that children check in with their guardian after dismissal from this class. 

All our volunteer staff have gone through a criminal record check, have been trained in our Plan to Protect Protocol and gone through training on curriculum delivery. We have wonderful volunteers who love and serve our children well. It is our up most desire for kids to come to Living Hope and be safe, learn about the bible and have fun!
